Hey, I'm Danny.

I'm the CTO at Convertr.io (opens in a new tab) and love building web applications and products.

As a forward-thinking and hands-on CTO, I bring a wealth of experience in leading product and technology teams through transformative periods of growth and innovation. In my 10+ years working at Convertr, I've spearheaded the evolution of a sophisticated, high-traffic lead management platform, guiding my teams in engineering, product development, DevOps, Security, Data and QA to not only meet but exceed our ambitious business objectives.

My leadership is marked by a passionate commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working closely with business stakeholders, I've been instrumental in crafting and executing an exciting product vision and technology roadmap that aligns with our company's strategic goals. This collaborative approach has ensured that our technology strategy not only supports but drives our business objectives, reinforcing the critical role of the technology division within the senior leadership team.

Beyond my role at Convertr, my background as an Engineering Lead provided me with a solid foundation in team building and project management, with experience working across a range of industries (e-commerce, mobile payments, and content management) in both product and agency environments. This experience honed my skills in agile methodologies, quality assurance, and development best practices, ensuring that our solutions consistently meet the highest standards.

Today, my expertise extends to a broad array of programming languages and technologies. I excel in Node.js, Python, Go as well as PHP, and possess an in-depth understanding of the AWS ecosystem, database technologies and architectures and Linux systems. I'm equally passionate about the fast changing frontend landscape as well as exploring new generative AI trends and machine learning concepts.

My approach to technology leadership is holistic, prioritising not just technical excellence but also strategic vision and the cultivation of talent within my teams. In my capacity as a key member of the senior leadership team, I have been pivotal in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence that propels the company forward.
